The PBFN Foundation Professional Athlete/Business Transition Research and Data division identifies, analyzes and shares information on trends in professional athletes and their transition to business for the sports and business communities, as well as the general public. Developing reports on the latest challenges in the field, the department anticipates issues, interprets data and assesses the potential implications and opportunities for the professional athletes and their successful transition to life after the game.

The PBFN Foundation assists the professional athlete in the transition to business through:

• Conducting and facilitating research on trends and demographics.
• Collecting, organizing and communicating information on the professional athlete and the transition to business.
• Producing a variety of publications and newsletters geared toward the professional athlete and the issues and trends related to a successful transition.
• Developing unique and original material for seminars and workshops designed to foster the professional growth and development of its member community and the sports industry.
