The PBFN Foundation was established in 2004 by the Professional Business & Financial Network (PBFN) as an educational and research-based arm of its affiliate, PBFN. Recognizing a need to prepare emerging, current and former athletes for life beyond the game, the PBFN Foundation made a commitment to concentrate on professional athletes current and future business development requirements. Through groundbreaking future-focused work, it is taking the leap from helping with the everyday business barriers athletes face to honing in on the challenges they are likely to encounter.

The Foundation’s resources are generated from a variety of fundraising programs, private and public contributions and special events. The PBFN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All contributions are tax-deductible.
