OT Magazine Sponsors Player Networking Eventú at Super Bowl XXXIX

OverTime Magazine (OT), the business and lifestyle magazine for professional athletes and sports industry insiders, is proud to sponsor the annual Player Networking Eventú on Friday, February 4th at Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville. Organized by Troupe21, the event is an NFL sanctioned event and the only Super Bowl event focused on the transition from sports to business.

The Player Networking Eventú brings active and former professional athletes, team and league executives, and corporations together for the purpose of business networking.

This invitation-only event is structured in a "happy hour" setting from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, February 4th at the Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront. There will be a short program, plenty of networking opportunities, appetizers, a carving station, beverages, desserts, and light jazz.

A partial list of confirmed companies includes PBFN, ESPN, Stein Mart, Pizza Hut, CBS Sports, Reebok, American Airlines, PGA Tour, Inc. and many more.

Ryan McNeil to participate in WHY NOT SPORTS Career Expo

Held during Super Bowl XXXIX, the Sports Career Expo is a distinctive one-day sports career conference for high school and collegiate athletes designed to enlighten them on athletic and non-athletic sports career opportunities. It will be held February 3, 2005 at the University of North Floridaâs University Center (12000 Alumni Drive Jacksonville, FL 32224).

The program will last from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will include a series of workshops, panel discussions, exhibitors fair, and a keynote address from Roxanne Jones, Senior Coordinating Editor and VP of ESPN the Magazine.

Confirmed NFL Players participating in the Players Leading Aspiring Young Athletes to Success (P.L.A.Y.A.S.) panel from1:00pm-2:00pm, include: Moderator: Ryan D. McNeil, Veteran NFL player, Publisher & Editor-in-Chief of OverTime Magazine, and President and CEO of PBFN, Inc. and Panelists: Nick Ferguson (Denver Broncos), Micah Ross (Carolina Panthers), Sam Madison (Miami Dolphins) and many others to be announced.

Admission for the event is free to students and the general public.
