OTX Finalists to be Announced at Player Networking Event
The 50 finalists for the 2006 OTX Awards will be announced during the Player Networking Eventú (PNE) at Super Bowl XL. The annual Awards, which bring to light the positive contributions professional athletes make in business and philanthropy, are coming to Atlanta on June 10, 2006. PBFN and OT Magazine to Participate in Player Networking Event at Super Bowl
The Player Networking Eventú, a property owned exclusively by Troupe21 through the NFL, is the only Super Bowl event designed to help players prepare for their transition from the game. This sanctioned NFL event brings active and former NFL players, team and league executives and corporations together for the purpose of business networking. Organizations interested in targeting former and current athletes as future employees and players interested in career development and transition assistance will attend this exclusive event, which will be held on Friday, February 3, 2006 from 3-6 p.m. at Robert Porcherâs (former Detroit Lions) restaurant, Seldom Blues.

To date, executives from over 20 Fortune 500 companies have confirmed attendance. Event sponsors include American Home Mortgage, OverTime (OT) Magazine and Choice Hotels International. The Professional Business & Financial Network (PBFN), Athletes 2 Business, Pro Game Consultants and NFL Players Association serve as strategic alliances. Contributing sponsors include Homestead Settlements, Millennium Bank of Texas, CC Productions and StartupNation.
