Celebrities, Charities and Sponsors Partner with Ninth Annual Playerâs Gala to Bring ÎCrazy-Sexy-Coolâ Super Bowl Weekend to Miami

Corporate sponsors, celebrities, professional athletes, and entertainers will join NFL Players for a weekend of live entertainment and South Beach fashion at the original Playerâs Gala Weekend presented by E-Merge International and VIBE Magazine.

CRAZY: Take Snoop Dogg and MLBâs Johnny Damon add Ludacris, Melyssa Ford and a few of the NFLâs best, and you get a crazy mix of celebrities that appeal to fans far and wide. The 2007 Playerâs Gala Weekend - sponsored by organizations such as Moretti Yachts, The Margarita King, Clear Channel, and the Global Gaming League - is expected to draw more than 1,500 guests throughout the weekend of February 2 - 4, 2007. To enhance the experience, NFL stars and entertainment industry notables can look forward to weekend highlights which include:

• Playerâs Gala Mixer at The Standard Hotel (Friday, 02/02)
• "Lord of the Rings" Barbeque at The Standard Hotel; "The Greatest" party in Miami with a special performance by host Ludacris at Nikki Beach (Saturday 02/03)
• "Bubbles on the Beach" Playerâs Gala at The Raleigh immediately following the championship game - hosted by Melyssa Ford (Sunday, 02/04)

In keeping with the atmosphere of South Beach, the Playerâs Gala has selected the cityâs sexiest venues to serve as backdrops for the weekend events.

COOL: Surrounding the biggest sporting competition in the world - Super Bowl XLI - the Playerâs Gala Weekend events benefit the JAIMAN and the Hannibal Navies Foundations.
